Simple Kind To Skin Refreshing Facial Wash | Review

Posted on April 12, 2019April 12, 2019 by Mrinalini

Simple Skincare has become one of my favourite brands in a short span of time because I can blindly trust its products to be supremely gentle yet effective. Come summer and I need a face wash that is soothing yet great at removing dirt and grime from my skin. The Simple Kind To Skin Refreshing Facial Wash caught my eye when I was looking for such a product. Here are my thoughts on this face wash after using it for several weeks.

The Simple Refreshing Facial Wash comes in a gigantic 150ml tube which is priced at an affordable INR 325. The aloe green colour of the packaging is a soothing sight in the scorching heat. The product inside is a clear gel which is neither too runny nor too thick. It has a mild, almost non-existent scent because the formula does not contain any added perfume.

The face wash creates a gentle lather on wet skin and has a calming effect on the face. The product is so gentle that it literally feels like washing the skin with plain water, but it still manages to remove any traces of oil or residual makeup from the face quite effectively. My skin feels soft, supple and hydrated after using this product in conjunction with the Simple Micellar Cleansing Water that I have already reviewed in a previous blog post.

Just like all the other products from this brand, the Simple Refreshing Facial Wash is free of parabens, alcohol, and soap. It does not contain any animal derived ingredients or harsh chemicals either. If you are someone with extremely sensitive skin that becomes red or irritated after washing your face then this product will definitely work for you because it basically feels like nothing on the skin. I feel that the formula will suit all skin types because it provides gentle hydration and does not make the skin dry or stretchy.

To conclude, another product from Simple Skincare gets a thumbs up from me. The launch of this brand in India is a blessing for those with sensitive skin and for all of us in general who like no-nonsense skincare products. Do try out the Simple Refreshing Facial Wash if you are in the market for a cleanser!
