Plum is knocking the ball out of the park with its back-to-back launches this year, and the latest launch to hit the shelves are the Plum Matterrific Lipsticks! These lipsticks promise a nourishing matte formula in 10 gorgeous shades. I’m sure all my lipstick lovers out their are wondering if the Plum Matterific Lipsticks are worth a try. Here is my in-depth review with swatches of all 10 shades to address all your doubts!

Are Plum Matterrific Lipsticks Transfer-proof and Comfortable?
The Plum Matterrific Lipsticks are bullet lipsticks infused with nourishing Shea Butter, Almond Oil, Jojoba Oil, Macadamia Nut Oil, Avocado Oil & Vitamin E. Thanks to these moisturizing ingredients the lipsticks glide smoothly on the lips and feel very comfortable. They settle to a demi matte finish but are not drying at all. In fact, they feel quite balmy on dry lips.
Since these are bullet lipsticks with a creamy formula, they are not 100% transferproof. However, they are pretty transfer-resistant and can survive a light meal. Additionally, the shades 128 to 130 stain the lips and leave behind a tint even when they are rubbed off.

How Is The Pigmentation And Finish Of Plum Matterrific Lipsticks?
The Plum Matterrific Lipsticks settle to a demi-matte finish on the skin which will have a slight sheen under direct light. The shades 124 – 130 offer one swipe opaque pigmentation on my pigmented lips while the shades 121 – 123 need two swipes for full opacity. Overall, I am happy with the finish and pigmentation of these lipsticks.

Best Shades In Plum Matterrific Lipsticks For Medium Skin Tones?
The Plum Matterrific Lipsticks are currently available in 10 shades. The first three shades (121 – 123) are more suitable for light skin tones while the remaining shades (124 – 130) are all suitable for medium skin tones. The shade range is a little pink-heavy for now, but I guess that is what most users prefer anyway.
My favourite shades are –
Go Rouge – A reddish pink that will complement most Indian skin tones beautifully.
Upside Brown – A warm brown that is quite unique from the other browns I own.
Jazzberry – A mix of purple, plum and mauve undertones that create a unique shade.
Date Night – The best plum color lipstick for Indian skin tones due to its balanced undertones.
Bold School – A flattering deep red.

Plum Matterrific Lipsticks vs. Plum Liquid Lipsticks, which is better?
I have already reviewed all shades of Plum Liquid Lipsticks and as I mentioned in that review, they are nice and light-weight liquid lipsticks with a completely matte formula. However, they remain tacky for a few minutes after application and crumble when fading. The Plum Matterrific Lipsticks do not have these cons. They are more comfortable on the lips, do not crumble or feel tacky. However, they have a demi-matte finish instead of a fully matte finish. So, based on your preference, you can choose either of them.
Are Plum Matterrific Lipsticks A Good Choice?
The Plum Bullet Lipsticks retail for INR 499 each but are currently on sale at INR 399 per piece. Plus you can get an extra 10% discount with my Plum Coupon Code – MRINALINI (affiliate)
For the price point, the formula and pigmentation of these lipsticks is pretty good and the shade range is great for Indian skin tones. Whether you are looking for nude shades for daily wear or darker shades like the best plum color lipstick, this range has you covered. Plus, the black and purple packaging is quite cute although it is a tad plasticky, but I like it for the price.
So, if you are looking for affordable and comfortable matte bullet lipsticks in India, the Plum Matterrific Lipsticks are certainly a good option.
