I used to be a long-wearing matte lipstick kinda girl (and still am when I step out), but having spent so much time working from home the past couple of years, I have started appreciating tints for effortless but put-together wfh appropriate looks. After all, a hint of tint on the lips and some healthy flush on the cheeks makes me look so much more awake. So, today I will be talking about the best lip and cheek tints in India that I have tried.
Bear in mind that most lip and cheek tints are not super long-lasting, especially on the lips. They are meant to be comfy and oftentimes hydrating. Hence, on an average, expect any of these tints to last for 3-4 hours on the lips (without meals) and 5-6 hours on the cheeks (indoors). With these expectations set, here are my top lip and cheek tints in India.
1. Ilana Beet Tint
The Ilana Beet Tint is a watery tint with beet extracts as the key pigment. It gives a sheer, natural flush to the lips/cheeks and is best for those who prefer a very natural look. I prefer this tint on my cheeks as it does not show up much on my lips. As a blush, it gives a beautiful healthy flush of pink. I’m not a fan of the roll-on applicator though!
Price – INR 793 for 5ml (quite expensive in my opinion, get it during sales)

2. Earth Rhythm Lip Cheek Tint
The Earth Rhythm Lip Cheek Tints Come in 3 different shades – Brandy (reddish wine), Cherry (bright red) and Mermaid (fuchsia pink). I have the shade Brandy and it is a beautifully pigmented tint that is slightly thick but blends easily on the skin. It also feels moisturizing on my lips and cheeks. I love the packaging with the convenient doe-foot applicator as well. The only small issue I have is that this tint fades fairly quickly from my lips, and I wish that it was more long-lasting.
Price – INR 499 for 5ml. Often available at 50% discount on the brand’s website.
3. Faceshop Water Fit Lip Tint
The Face Shop Water Fit Tint has a thin consistency, slightly thicker than water. It comes in 5 shades and is the most long-wearing out of the best lip and cheek tints in India tried by me. I prefer using this tint on my lips and not my cheeks because it is quite pigmented. I own the shade Red Signal which is a maroonish red. The formula is hydrating and comfortable. Also the doe-foot applicator and packaging is convenient.
Price – INR 549 for 5gm

4. Pure By Priyanka Lip And Cheek Tints
Pure By Priyanka Lip & Cheek Tints are balmy tints that are moisturizing on the lips. They come in a tub packaging with a screw on lid which may not be the most travel and application friendly. I wish they came in twist up tube packaging like lip balms. However, the formula itself is suitable for dry lips. Again, I prefer using these on the lips because of the balmy consistency. There are two shades – Belle Rose (Deep Pink) and Glamour Red (Bright Red), which are suitable for Indian Skin Tones.

5. Cuffs n Lashes Lip And Cheek Tints
Cuffs n Lashes Lip And Cheek Tints come in 9 different shades and are the most affordable among the best lip and cheek tints in India. Plus, their shade range is one of the best I have seen, with pinks, browns, and deeper shades too. They are priced at INR 325 for 10gm and come in a tub with a screw on lid. I prefer applying them with a brush and they work great for the eyes, lips, and cheeks. The formula is creamy and hydrating and the pigmentation can be sheered down or built up to full coverage. They are creamy in the tub but settle to a comfortable satin matte finish on the skin that I really like. My top shades are Kulhad and Lactose Free.
Price – INR 325 for 10gm
