Haldi or Turmeric is a popular antiseptic ingredient that prevents acne and skin infections and also brightens the skin. Mulethi or Licorice is yet another amazing ingredient for the skin that reduces itchiness and helps with skin conditions like eczema. Manjishtha is an antioxidant that reduces free radical damage caused by UV rays and pollution. Ashwagandha boosts skin elasticity and prevents aging.
Apart from these skin-healing ingredients, the lotion contains soothing aloe, hydrating glycerin, and a bunch of nourishing plant oils and butters, such as cocoa butter, mango butter, coconut oil, jojoba oil and carrot seed oil. It also contains a small percentage of zinc oxide and titanium oxide that offer mild sun protection. Hence, the formula is an all-rounder that moisturizes, protects and repairs the skin.

The consistency of the Peau Care Body Lotion is quite runny, yet it manages to be extremely nourishing when massaged into the skin. The product sinks into the skin within seconds upon gentle massaging and does not leave behind any greasy, white or sticky residue. It gives a slight healthy sheen to the skin and makes it super soft instantly. It provides ample hydration to my normal skin and I do not feel the need to reapply the lotion until my next bath. The lotion neither feels heavy on my skin nor makes me sweat more throughout the day. It just silently does its job of keeping my skin soft and supple. It also has a mild herbal scent that is quite comforting!
My Final Verdict
If you cannot already tell, I am head over heels in love with the Peau Care Body Lotion and don’t think that I will be reaching for any other body moisturizer during summer. I need a body lotion that I can apply and forget about and this one fits the bill perfectly. Plus its added skin benefits make it more appealing than a plain body lotion with just moisturizing ingredients. Moreover, the user-friendly and leakproof packaging makes it ideal for travelling too (whenever it is safe to do that again).
Even the price of INR 490 per 100ml bottle is quite affordable because each drop of this lotion goes a long way due to its spreadable consistency! Hence, the Peau Care Body Lotion ticks all the right boxes for me and there isn’t any con that I can think of.
