2020 has not been a year where I have tried too many new lipsticks, but I have finally found a new lipstick formula that I absolutely adore! The MyGlamm K.Play Flavoured Lipstick was sent to me as a part of a PR package from the brand, and it surprised me with how good it was! No, the brand never told me speak about this product but this is one lipstick that you need to know about! Read on to find out why I love this lipstick so much!
The Formula
The MyGlamm K.Play Flavoured Lipsticks are a range of flavoured lipsticks that have fruity scents as per the shade name. MyGlamm has always been a brand to bring out colourful and quirky products, so this lipstick range fits right in with the brand image. This is a range of 12 lipsticks with pink, orange and berry shades and unique fruit flavours. I own the shade Melon Squeeze from the range which is a pink-toned beet shade. It has a melon fragrance but the scent is not too strong and feels pleasant.
The formula of the lipstick is very creamy and pigmented. It gives opaque pigmentation and full coverage in one stroke. It is also enriched with Vitamin E and feels very comfortable and hydrating on the lips. The lipstick settles to a satin matte finish on the lips and does not feel drying at all. In terms of creaminess and finish, it lies somewhere in between the Nykaa So Creme Lipsticks and the Sugar Nothing Else Matter Lipsticks.
The Packaging of the MyGlamm K.Play Flavoured Lipstick
Another thing about the Myglamm K.Play Flavoured Lipsticks that drew me to the range is the beautiful packaging. Not only is the outer box colourful and quirky, the casing of the bullet is gorgeous too. The lipstick casing has a soft matte finish that feels so satisfying to hold and the lavender colour makes it different from all the lipsticks that I own. For the price of INR 545, I feel that the packaging looks quite chic.
The Longevity
It is very difficult to find a lipstick formula that is very comfortable yet long-wearing. Luckily, the MyGlamm K.Play Flavoured Lipsticks tick both boxes for me. The shade Melon Squeeze lasts for 6 hours on my lips if I don’t consume anything too oily. It is not transferproof but tranfers evenly without becoming patchy or botchy. An oily meal will remove it from the center of the lips but reapplication is super easy to as the formula does not crumble or pill.
Overall the MyGlamm K.Play Flavoured Lipstick in the shade Melon Squeeze has won my heart and how! It is the perfect winter lipstick due to its comfortable and hydrating formula. I am loving the formula of this lipstick so much that I am planning to buy a few more shades to see if the formula is consistent across the shades.
