Blue Tansy oil is a skincre ingredient that started gaining a lot of traction last year due to its soothing and anti-inflammatory properties. It did not grab my interest for a long time, until Corona hit the world. The stress of everything got to me on more than one occasion, leaving me with painful acne. My skin started craving everything soothing, and the Luxurious Adore Blue Tansy range was launched at just the right time for me! I picked up their Blue Tansy Oil and Blue Tansy Cleanser a few weeks back, and here is what I think of them!
Luxurious Adore Blue Tansy Claifying Face Wash
The Luxurious Adore Blue Tansy Clarifying Face Wash is a mild gel-based cleanser with the faint scent of berries. It contains Witch Hazel as an astringent, acai berries that help with anti-aging due to the presence of Vitamin A, and Blue Tansy Oil to soothe the skin. The brand states that this face wash is suitable for those with aging, irritated or dry skin.

This face wash produces a gentle lather that manages to clean my oily skin really well without leaving it dry or stretchy. In fact, it makes the skin quite soft and has a prominent soothing effect. I feel that this face wash can work across skin types and should be suitable for both dry as well as oily skin. This face wash works well as both an AM as well as a PM cleanser for me.
The only slight downside of the face wash for some could be the price, which is slightly high. I believe that this is due to sourcing quality ingredients for the formula, which the brand is particular about. A 100ml bottle of the product is currently priced at INR 499. I personally don’t mind paying this price for the face wash and am hoping that the brand brings out a bigger bottle soon!
Luxurious Adore Blue Tansy Clarifying Serum
The Luxurious Adore Blue Tansy Clarifying Serum is a gorgeous serum for oily to combination skin that is acne-prone or inflamed. It combines the soothing properties of Blue Tansy with the antimicrobial properties of Blue Yarrow Oil and the anti-aging properties of Acai Berries. The base ingredient is squalane derived from olives, which has very similar properties to the oil our skin produces. This is why the product does not feel heavy or greasy on the skin.

I use two to three drops of this serum all over my face at night. On the days when my skin is particularly parched, I first apply the Luxurious Adore Avocado Milk Serum and then go in with this oil. The oil moisturizes the skin very well and does not give that uneasy feeling of an oil sitting on your face. It does feel very soothing and helps any active acne on my face to heal faster. If I have painful bumps on my face at night, by morning the oil shrinks them in size to a significant extent. It also imparts a healthy glow to the skin with regular use.
Overall, I am super impressed with this oil and will highly recommend it to those with oily, acne-prone skin. The price is again on the steeper side (INR 1399 for 30ml) but you literally need only two drops of product each day. It will last you for several months, which makes it a wise investment.

I have been very pleased with everything that I have tried from Luxurious Adore till date and their brand ethos have impressed me. I am definitely going to pick up the face mask from their Blue Tansy range in the future, as well as their Avocado Eye Cream.
