Are you a hair mask person? If you feel that you do not need a hair mask on a regular basis, chances are that you are blessed with naturally manageable hair. However, if you are someone with fussy, unruly hair like mine, you will appreciate the value of a good hair mask. I prefer hair masks that deep condition the hair without weighing it down. If you too love such hair masks then today’s post about the Flawsome Kinky Berries Hair Mask will definitely be useful for you. Keep on reading for my review of this product!

The Ingredients
Flawsome provides a range of haircare masks that are free of silicones, sulfates, parabens and phthalates. The Flawsome Kinky Berries Hair Mask is especially formulated for dry and damaged hair. It contains berry extracts, that act as powerful antioxidants and reverse the damage caused by free radicals and environmental stress. It also contains Keratin, which strengthens the hair and improves its elasticity, along with argan oil, coconut oil, and shea butter to deeply nourish the hair.
The formula is in the form of a thick cream that spreads easily on the hair. It smells like berry sorbet and a mild scent of berries lingers in the hair after rinsing the product off.

The Packaging
The Flawsome Kinky Berries Hair Mask comes in a giant black plastic tub with a screw on lid and a second lid inside to prevent spillage. The packaging is very sturdy and leakproof. The label as well as the outer cardboard packaging have a very distinctive quirky print on them which looks pretty cute. When I received the package, the mask came wrapped inside a cloth scarf and their was no bubble wrap or plastic in the packaging material. One jar contains 200gm of product and is priced at INR 799, which is a decent price for a good-quality hair mask.

My Experience with the Flawsome Kinky Berries Hair Mask
The Flawsoms Kinky Berries Hair Mask can be used both as a pre-shampoo hair mask as well as a post-shampoo hair mask. When used as a pre-shampoo mask, you can dampen your hair, apply the product and leave it on for 30 minutes before washing it off with a mild shampoo. When used as a post-shampoo mask, you can apply it on damp, shampooed hair and leave it on for 5-30 minutes, as per your convenience before rinsing it off with water. Wrapping the hair in a damp towel after applying the mask will further encourage the hair to soak in more moisture. I love to use this product both ways as per my mood and schedule.
The hair mask deep conditions the hair and leaves it soft and fluffy. With repeated use, the hair looks visibly healthier and smoother. The mask has managed to reduced the monsoon frizziness as well. I have very fine hair that get tangled quite easily but after using this mask, the hair remain knot-free for longer, which is a huge relief for me. For a mask without silicones to be able to provide such silkiness to the hair is truly commendable. I will therefore recommend this mask to all of you who suffer from dry, damaged and brittle hair. The Flawsome Kinky Berries Hair Mask has found its place in the list of my favourite hair masks and I am excited to try more hair masks from the brand in the future!
