If you are someone who gets migraine attacks frequently, you would know that heavy eye makeup can often trigger migraines, especially false lashes or heavy mascara. This is something that I wouldn’t wish upon even my enemies because migraines can be debilitating and depressing. I have experienced mild migraines in the past from some of the mascaras that I have used, and was therefore looking for a variant that would be suitable for sensitive eyes. A formula made with gentler ingredients without a strong fragrance, so as to prevent my eyes from getting irritated and to potentially prevent any migraines. This is when I stumbled upon the Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara, which claims to be suitable for sensitive eyes due to its organic ingredients. Read on to find out how this product fared for my sensitive eyes.
The Packaging
The Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara comes in a very unique and eyecatching leaf-shaped tube. It has a botanical print on the body and a leaf embossing on the cap. This design along with the metallic green font against a pink backdrop makes the mascara stand out from the other mascaras that I own. The design also brings out the organic theme really well. So full marks to the brand in the looks department.
The Performance of the Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara
The Physicians Formula Mascara comes with a thick wand that has short bristles. The wand makes it easy to coat each and every lash with the product from the roots to the tips. The formula adds thickness as well as length to the lashes, although it does not give extreme results in either department. It is definitely not the mascara for you if you are looking for a false lash effect, but if you want your lashes to look slightly longer and thicker then you will enjoy the formula. I personally love this mascara for everyday wear when I want a “My lashes but better look”. It adds some thickness but does not make the lashes clump together and adds length without making the lashes spidery. Moreover, it works well when layered underneath a thickening mascara for more volume.
Suitability for Sensitive Eyes
True to its claims, the Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara is quite gentle on the eyes and does not irritate them or make my lashes feel heavy. I have not experience any irritation or headaches when using this mascara and it doesn’t sting the eyes even while makeup removal. You can wash it off easily with just plain water at the end of the day without tugging at the lashes. Hence I would say that this mascara is certainly suitable for those with sensitive eyes.

My Final Verdict On The Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara
For the price of INR 899, one would expect some dramatic length and volume from a tube of mascara, which the Physicians Formula Organic Wear Mascara fails to provide. However, I couldn’t find any other mascara in India that claimed to have organic ingredients and to be suitable for sensitive eyes. If most mascaras tend to irritate your eyes or give you a headache then you can definitely give this one a shot for daily wear, but do not expect too much volume or length from the formula. There are other mascara variants in the Physicians Formula Organic Wear range, which you could try as per your requirements too!
I used to love the Physcians Formula green tube . I’ll have to try this out soon .
I am looking forward to trying other variants too 🙂
