Vedantika Herbals Neem Tulsi Aloe Face Wash | Review

Posted on April 10, 2020March 31, 2020 by Mrinalini

A good face wash for oily and acne-prone skin is one that contains anti-bacterial agents to curb acne and does not strip the skin dry. Any face wash with neem and tulsi in it works really well at shrinking my acne because neem and tulsi are natural ingredients with potent anti-microbial properties. This is why when Vedantika Herbals approached me try out some of their products, I immediately gravitated towards their Neem Tulsi Aloe Face Wash as it sounded like a gentle face wash with anti-bacterial agents in it. Here is my review of this face wash after testing it out for several weeks.

Vedantika Herbals Face Wash

The Packaging

The Vedantika Herbals Face Wash comes in a clear plastic bottle with a pump which makes using this product very convenient. I also like the fact that the bottle is transparent so that you know exactly how much product is left in the bottle. Even though the packaging is made of plastic, you can easily reuse this bottle to carry any face wash or lotion when you travel and wish to avoid bulky products. Overall, it is pretty decent packaging for the price.

The Formula of the Vedantika Herbals Face Wash

The Vedantika Herbals Face Wash contains Neem, Tulsi and Aloe vera as its key ingredients along with soap nut as the foaming agent. The formula is a light green liquidy gel that lathers to produce a gentle foam on the face. This face wash removes excess grease and sebum from the face but does not leave the skin dry or stretched out. It does not feel particularly hydrating on the skin like the Simple face washes but it does not feel drying either, which I think is perfect for those with oily skin. It has a very mild fragrance which should not bother most people.

The Efficacy

Thanks to ingredients such as Neem, Tulsi, and Aloe, this face wash works really well at diminishing acne from the first use, and with regular use it will prevent further breakouts too. I love how it is able to shrink any active acne on the face without drying out the rest of the skin. For maximum efficacy, I will recommend massaging the product on damp skin for at least 30 seconds.

My Verdict on the Vedantika Herbals Face Wash

At a very affordable price of INR 199 for a 100 ml bottle, the Vedantika Herbals Face Wash is an excellent choice for those with oily and acne-prone skin. It is gentle yet effective, which is a perfect combination for those who suffer from frequent breakouts. I will highly recommend it to you if you are suffering from greasy, acne-prone skin.
