Do you hate having to wait around in your bathroom with wet hair while your hair mask works it magic? I certainly do, which is why the Loreal Paris Rapid Reviver 6 Oil Nourish Deep Conditioner piqued my interest. This conditioner claims that you can rinse it off immediately after application without having to leave it on the hair for long. I have tested this product out thoroughly over multiple washes, and here are my thoughts.
The Packaging
The Loreal Paris Rapid Reviver Conditioner comes in a convenient tube packaging that is easy and mess-free to use as opposed to tubs that require scooping out of the product. The tube is leakproof and seals shut tightly, which makes it easy to travel with as well. I like how the brand has stuck to the theme of making a hasslefree product even with the packaging. Also, the price of INR 240 for a 180ml tube is very affordable.
The Formula
Coming to the formula of the Loreal Paris Rapid Reviver Conditioner, out of the three variants available in the market, I went with the 6 Oil Nourish Deep Conditioner because I have fairly dry and frizzy ends and have liked the other products from the 6 Oil range in the past. This conditioner has a creamy consistency and contains a bunch of nourishing oils such as coconut oil, olive oil, argan oil, and almond oil, and the good thing is that some of these oils feature high up in the ingredient list.
It does, however, contain silicones too, which build a smooth film on the hair and make it look shinier and smoother instantly. If you are opposed to the use of silicones in hair products then this formula is certainly not for you, but if you do not mind silicones in your products then this one is a good option because it does contain a number of nourishing ingredients along with silicones.
My Experience With The Loreal Paris Rapid Reviver Conditioner
I personally am someone who is too impatient to leave a hair mask on for long, but a regular conditioner is usually not enough for my dry, frizzy hair. The Loreal Paris Rapid Reviver Conditioner is therefore a blessing for me because it provides more nourishment than a regular conditioner but does not have to be left on the hair for long like a mask. It definitely does not nourish the hair as much as a good hair mask, but for the days when you want a smooth and healthy look to your hair in limited time, this one is a great option. I typically leave it on for 2-3 minutes in the shower and within this time it detangles my hair and hydrates them to the extent that they look smooth, silky and frizz-free after drying. The effect lasts on my hair for only 2-3 days though, after which the frizz reappears.
One possible downside of the product is that it has a strong sugary, candylike scent but the fragrance does not linger in the hair post rinsing. Other than that, I feel that this product is a decent, affordable quick fix for damaged hair if you do not have the time for a full-on hair mask, but you will certainly need a hair mask once a week for deep nourishment.
