Choosing the right face wash for dry and sensitive skin can be an ordeal because what may work for normal to oily skin will leave dry skin feeling stripped and possibly irritated. Based on the face washes I have tried so far, I have curated a list of 5 face washes that are super gentle on the skin and leave it feeling hydrated and plump. From super affordable to mid-range, here are 5 face washes that you must pick if you have dry and sensitive skin.
1. Simple Kind To Skin Refreshing Facial Wash:
If you are someone with sensitive skin then Simple Skincare is a brand that you can blindly trust. The Simple Kind To Skin Refreshing Facial Wash contains no SLS or fragrance and has skin-loving ingredients such as Vitamin B and E to keep the skin nourished and hydrated. As an added bonus, this face wash is priced at INR 325 for a huge 150ml tube. Click here to read my detailed review of this product. Click here to buy!
2. Dr. Sheth’s Basic Brightening Daily Cleanser:
This face wash produces a gentle lather and leaves the skin looking brighter and hydrated. With nourishing ingredients such as almond oil and rosehip oil, you can’t go wrong with this product for dry and sensitive skin. It is priced at INR 375 for a 50ml bottle but is definitely worth the investment. Click here to read my detailed review. Click here to buy.
3. The Face Shop Dr.Belmeur Daily Repair Foam Cleanser:
This face wash is priced at a whopping INR 900 for a 150ml tube but if nothing else works for your super sensitive skin then this face wash definitely will. It contains olive oil and birch tree sap as some of its hydrating ingredients and does a great job at cleansing the skin without leaving it dry or stretchy. Click here for my full review. 4. Kanai Organics Aloe Vera Manjishtha Facewash:
This SLS free face wash contains reetha extracts to cleanse the skin, aloe vera to moisturise the skin, and manjishtha to brighten it from within. It is priced at INR 550 for a 100ml tube and is a delight to use on dry skin. This product is currently out of stock on the website but the brand has informed me that it will be back in stock in November 2019. Click here to read my full review. Click here to buy.
5. COSRX Centella Cleansing Powder:
Cosrx products are a little difficult to find in India, but there are many websites that ship to India now. This brand has a number of low pH face washes that are suitable for sensitive skin but the one I have tried and enjoyed is the Centella Cleansing Powder. 30 single-use pods of this powder are priced at INR 1200, but I can promise that you will get excellent quality for each penny that you spend on this super-gentle cleanser.
