Juicy Chemistry is a brand that needs no introduction amidst Indian skincare enthusiasts. It is well known for its wide range of certified organic products and its approach to use naturally derived ingredients in skincare. The brand has recently launched a new range called Juicy Actives, which uses a unique process of cellular extraction to capture the essence of plant actives in a serum format. Since I have used and enjoyed many Juicy Chemistry products in the past, I was curious to see how this range compares to serums that use synthetic actives. The brand sent me the Juicy Chemistry Regenerating Serum from the Juicy Actives range for an Instagram collaboration, and I thought that I should review it for my blog readers as well. So, if you have been wondering whether Juicy Chemistry serums are worth the hype, do keep on reading!

What Is The Juicy Chemistry Regenerating Serum All About?
The Juicy Chemistry Regenerating Serum is a part of the new Juicy Actives range. This serum contains water-soluble phytonutrients derived from plants using the process of Cellular Extraction, which claims to deliver the complete nutrient profile of the plant into a liquid matrix of rainwater and glycerin.
Juicy Chemistry Regenerating Serum contains extracts of Mountain Pepperberry, Sea Fennel and Gotu Kola that are rich in antioxidants, peptides, Chlorogenic & Phenolic Acids respectively. With these potent plant extracts, the serum claims to boost cell regeneration, tackle free radical damage, strengthen skin barrier function and promote well-ageing plus even-toned skin.

The Texture
The Juicy Chemistry Regenerating Serum has a runny consistency. The base ingredients are rain water and glycerin, and the product has a slight slipperiness because of the latter. Hence, you need only a couple of drops and a light-weight moisturizer on top for oily skin like mine.
How To Use The Juicy Chemistry Regenerating Serum?
The brand recommends using the serum at night, after a hydrating toner or mist and before your moisturizer. The product is suitable for all skin types are particularly targeted towards signs of ageing, texture and dullness.

My Experience With Juicy Chemistry Regenerating Serum – Before and After
For 4 weeks, I used this serum in my nighttime routine, sandwiching it between a hydrating toner and a lightweight moisturiser. I avoided other active-based products during this period to test the full efficacy of this serum alone.
Here are all the changes I noticed on my skin after 4 weeks of using the serum.
- The texture on my face is visibly reduced.
- Most of the blemishes on my forehead, nose and chin have faded.
- My skin looks brighter and feels more supple and smooth.
- I did get a few hormonal breakouts on my cheek because of my monthly cycle but the pimples were less inflamed than usual.
- I also had some unusual bumps on my upper cheeks before, which could be either barrier damage or some other irritation, but this serum fixed them as well.
Is Juicy Chemistry Regenerating Serum Worth The Price?
The entire Juicy Actives range is slightly expensive, which the brand justifies with the cost of the cellular extraction process that maintains the integrity of the plant’s nutrient profile. The Juicy Chemistry Regenerating Serum retails at INR 999 for 10ml and INR 2299 for 30ml. However, you need only 2 drops daily and even the 10ml bottle will last you for 2 months, making the cost per use comparable to other active-based serums in the market. Plus the brand is running some great deals on their website lately and the code JC50 can give you a whopping 50% discount on this serum at the moment.
My Final Thoughts
I feel that the Juicy Chemistry Regenerating Serum is an excellent choice if you want something to address uneven skin tone and textured skin. The serum is also quite hydrating due to the presence of glycerin and has a slight slip to it. Thus, it serves well as both a brightening and hydrating product that helps with all-around skin health to a large extent. Additionally, it is a good choice for those who are hesitant to use strong actives in their skincare. So, if you have any of these requirements, you can definitely go for this serum.
