Don’t we all love it when our favourite skincare brand comes out with a new and promising product? But, don’t we all HATE it when they come out with a bunch of different products and we don’t know what to choose and what to leave! That seems to be a common concern for a lot of you, when one of our favourite Indian skincare brands, Dr. Sheth’s, launches new products! They have recently launched the Dr. Sheth’s Hibiscus and Niacinamide Lotion as well as the Ginseng and Vitamin E Moisturizing Cream. I have tried both of these, as well as their old bestseller – the Dr. Sheth’s Cica and Ceramide Serum, so that you do not have to try all 3 and can simply pick the best one for your skin type!
Without further ado, here is an in depth comparison of the three products!

Dr. Sheth’s Vitamin E & Ginseng Moisturizing Cream | Review
This is a thick cream that is soothing and moisturizing. It contains 5.5% Vitamin E, soothing Ginseng extract, Wheat and Oat sugars and Lecithin to heal and hydrate the skin. It takes a minute to blend on the skin due to its thicker consistency and once blended it imparts a dewy sheen. The formula extremely nourishing and calming.
Which Skin Types Will Like The Dr. Sheth’s Vitamin E & Ginseng Moisturizing Cream?
Dry to normal skin will probably enjoy it the most. My oily skin prefers it after exfoliation when my face feels dry. Very oily skin will find this heavy.

Dr. Sheth’s Cica & Ceramide Overnight Repair Serum | Review
This is a soothing and barrier strengthening serum with an emulsion consistency. Some of the key ingredients are 1% Ceramide Complex, soothing Centella extracts, calming Hemp extracts, and moisturizing Squalane & Marula Oil. It feels very light weight and blends easily on the skin. Feels calming on my face. It has an almost invisible/matte finish with a very slight sheen.
Which Skin Types Will Like The Dr. Sheth’s Cica & Ceramide Overnight Repair Serum?
Anyone with a damaged barrier, sensitive or irritated skin will enjoy this fragrance-free soothing serum. Those with oily to very oily skin can use it on its own but other skin types may need another moisturizer on top.

Dr. Sheth’s Hibiscus & Niacinamide Lotion | Review
This is a brightening and moisturizing lotion with 5% Niacinamide, 0.2% Allantoin (healing), Citrus Peel Extract (brightening) and Hibiscus extract (Antioxidant, repairs sun damage). This one has a runny lotion consistency that spreads and blends easily on the skin. It feels very hydrating and soothing & imparts a dewy glow to the skin. Doesn’t have added fragrance but has a sweet scent due to its ingredients. It is a hydrating and brightening product that offers moisturized, glowing skin with regular use.
Which Skin Types Will Like The Dr. Sheth’s Hibiscus & Niacinamide Lotion?
Dry to slightly oily skin should like this lotion. Very oily skin may find it too shiny and very dry skin may need to layer another moisturizer on top.
Which of these products from Dr. Sheth’s Is The Best?
All the three products managed to impressed me and lived up to their respective claims. All 3 formulations are great in my opinion. To summarize, you should pick the Cica and Ceramide Serum if you want something light-weight and soothing, specially for oily skin. For very dry skin that needs tons of moisture, you should pick the Dr. Sheth’s Ginseng and Vitamin E Moisturizing Cream. Lastly, for slightly dry to slightly oily skin that needs moisture and brightening, the Dr. Sheth’s Hibiscus & Niacinamide Lotion will be the best. Or, if you are looking for a gel moisturizer, check out my thoughts on the Dr. Sheth’s Aloe & Panthenol Gel!
So, choose from this trio based on your skin type and needs. I am sure you will love your pick!
