Did you hear the good news yet? Bath & Body Works is finally available on Nykaa.com and I am doing a happy dance right now! For years, I had heard international bloggers talk about the beautifully fragranced products from Bath & Body Works. Now I can finally buy these products from my favourite online shopping destination 🙂 On top of it all, the brand was kind enough to send me their much-loved “A Thousand Wishes Body Cream” to try. Here is my review for all of you!
The Packaging
Bath & Body Works is known for the striking packaging of their products, and A Thousand Wishes Body Cream is no exception! The cream comes in a metallic rose gold tube with golden glitter that looks stunning when twirled around. The packaging is very sturdy and has a flip lid that is leakproof. The squeezy tube works really well with the consistency of the cream. Each tube contains 226 gms of product in one tube that is priced at INR 1399. The full ingredient list is mentioned on the tube.
The Formula of the Bath & Body Works Body Cream
The Bath & Body Works A Thousand Wishes Body Cream has a creamy, fluffy consistency which looks slightly whipped. It does not feel heavy or greasy on the skin and sinks into the skin really quickly. It leaves the skin looking plump and hydrated and its scent lingers on the skin for several hours. The cream contains shea butter, cocoa butter and aloe as its key hydrating ingredients and manages to alleviate dryness without feeling sticky on the skin.
In terms of the fragrance, the key notes in this body cream are Pink Prosecco, Crystal Peonies and Gilded Amber. I can definitely smell the floral scent of peonies and the warm, sweet scent of amber in the fragrance but I also sense some fruity notes which I can’t put my finger on. If I had to describe the fragrance in one phrase then I would call it a sophisticated and uplifting sweet scent.

My Verdict On A Thousand Wishes Body Cream
I am a fan of fragranced body creams because their scent uplifts my mood and doubles up as perfume too. This is why I really like this body cream from Bath & Body Works because it smells so good. It also fares pretty well in the hydration department as a summer moisturizer because it is not too greasy. It does not leave any oily film on my skin, yet manages to hydrate it really well. The only downside is the price, which is on the steep side, but I guess you get a decent deal considering the beautiful packaging and fragrance of the cream.
