If you are a fine-haired girl who hasn’t discovered the magic of dry shampoo yet, this blog post is about to change your life! If your hair feels limp or oily at the roots only a couple of hours after a wash then a dry shampoo is what you need. It is also great for those of you who do not want to shampoo their hair too frequently or are having a busy day and cannot spend too much time in the shower. Batiste dry shampoos have been my saviour for years, whether I am having a cold and can’t shower or simply need to refresh my roots for an unexpected outing. I recently tried the beautiful brunette variant of the Batiste Dry Shampoo and here is my review of the product!

What it Does?
The Batiste Dry Shampoo is a powder that comes in a sprayable format in a can. It absorbs any excess grease present on the hair, thereby making them look cleaner, fresher and more voluminous. It also has a mild scent that removes any subtle odor of sweat that may be present in your hair. Basically, it doesn’t clean the scalp or hair as such but absorbs the excess oil and odor to give the appearance of cleaner hair.
It is not a permanent alternative to shampoo but is a good product to use in between two washes. I also use it on my freshly washed, styled hair to add more volume at my otherwise fine roots. The Beautiful Brunette variant has a light brown colour, and therefore does not leave a white residue on the hair like other dry shampoos. It will work well for those with light brown or dark blonde hair.

How to use the Batiste Dry Shampoo
All you need to do to use this dry shampoo is to divide your hair into parts at the roots and spritz a small amount of product on the roots at these partings. After this, massage the product into your scalp and roots with your fingers and brush any excess product through the lengths of your hair with a hair brush. Voila, you will be greeted with hair that looks freshly washed!

Where to buy the Batiste Dry Shampoo?
The Batiste Dry Shampoo is not readily available in offline stores in India but you can easily purchase it from Amazon or Nykaa. The price of INR 749 for a can that will last you around 3 months is quite reasonable in my opinion.
If you are someone who is sick and tired of limp roots and less volume then please try the Batiste Dry Shampoo on my recommendation. I am sure you will love it!
The best dry shampoo ever, I use the dark brunette version, I buy it from amazon in bulks ahahah it’s a must for me
This is definitely worth buying in bulk!
