Makeup Revolution is a trustworthy brand when it comes to decent, affordable eyeshadow palettes. I recently received the Makeup Revolution Re-loaded Palette Newtrals 2 in a PR package, and what a beauty this palette is! While we can all agree that this palette looks extremely beautiful and the shades look stunning in the pan, what about the formula, pigmentation and blendability? I am here to break it down for all of you guys today.
The Shades
The Makeup Revolution Re-loaded Newtrals 2 Eyeshadow Palette contains 15 shades that include neutral browns, rosy pinks and berries, as well as peaches and reds. There are matte and shimmer shades in all families so that you can create at least 3 different looks using only this palette – an everyday nude, a pinkier-berry look and a peachy red look. Of course, if you are more creative, you can create many more looks with unique pairings. Here are two eye looks that I created using only the shades from this palette.
The Formula and Pigmentation
The mattes in this palette are definitely more pigmented than the shimmers, but do have a good amount of kickback when picked up with a brush. I do not experience much fallout once the shadow is applied on the eye though, so I don’t mind the kickback. The shimmers don’t apply that well with brushes and may go on a bit patchy, but these work well with my fingers or a wet brush. Only the lightest two shades are do not show up well on my NC35 skin tone, but the rest of the shades should show up well on medium Indian skin tones.
My Final Verdict On The Makeup Revolution Re-Loaded Newtrals 2 Eyeshadow Palette
Priced at INR 850, this eyeshadow palette is great value for money if you like these shades (which most of you probably would because they are wearable with a sprinkle of beautiful bright shades). The shades will flatter a spectrum of Indian skin tones and the formulas are pretty decent for the price once you get the hang of how to work with them. I personaly love how they have added the deep reds and berries to the peaches and browns to create a well-rounded palette. It is great for beginners too who can start with the safer colours and then start experimenting with the darker ones. It is no wonder that this palette is usually out of stock on Nykaa and Amazon. If you see it in stock then grab it asap!
