Suganda Helichrysum Rosehip Serum | Review

Posted on January 13, 2020January 7, 2020 by Mrinalini

Rosehip Oil is an ingredient that my skin loves, and it always helps with my pigmentation, while nourishing and hydrating my skin. Helichrysum oil is an ingredient that is often referred to as a miracle ingredient because it promotes skin regeneration and also has anti-microbial properties. The Suganda Helichrysum Rosehip Serum combines the potency of both these products into a facial oil that is a boon for pigmented, acne-prone skin. I have been testing out this product for over a month now and here are my thoughts.

The Packaging

This serum is available in a 20ml bottle as well as a 10ml roll-on pack. While the roll on pack is a good way to test out the product at a lower price, and it is a convenient tube for travelling with, I personally find it a little unhygienic to use it directly on the face. How I use it is that I rub the applicator on clean hands to bring out the oil and then apply it to my face with my fingers. This makes the application way more hygienic than applying the product directly on pimples.

The Formula

The product is in the form of a light-weight oil that gets absorbed into the skin fairly quickly and does not clog the pores or feel greasy. It has a mild herbal scent to it, perhaps due to the presence of rosemary essential oil in the ingredient list. The oil is fairly hydrating too and you can apply it all over your face if you have dry skin or can use it as a spot treatment over acne if you have oily skin. When applied over painful pimples, it instantly soothes the inflamed skin.

My Final Verdict on the Suganda Helichrysum Rosehip Serum

The Suganda Helichrysum Rosehip Serum is an excellent product for those who suffer from angry breakouts, and are left behind with blemished skin that requires regeneration. It soothes the pimples, shrinks them, and helps to reduce blemishes while hydrating the skin. It is an all-rounder for acne-prone skin and would be a great way to prevent breakouts while keeping the skin nourished this winter. Also the price of INR 500 for 10ml and INR 900 for 20ml is quite decent because one bottle will last you a long time. If you are someone who suffers from the skin concerns I have mentioned above, then I will definitely recommend trying this product out.
