Kanai Organics Non Toxic Nail Paints | Poison Ivy | Review

Posted on December 16, 2019November 25, 2019 by Mrinalini

Kanai Organics is a brand that I love because they always try to bring the cleanest of formulations to their customers. I have already raved about the Kanai Organics Non Toxic Nail Paints in a previous blog post, but the only possible con of those nail paints was the high price point. I am happy to announce that the brand has now reformulated the product (it is now 12-free instead of 8-free) and has slashed down the prices of the nail paints to an affordable INR 199 while bringing out a bunch of amazing shades. I couldn’t resist picking up the newly launched shade Poison Ivy, and here is my review with swatches.

The shade Poison Ivy is a beautiful blue-toned purple shade that does not make my skin look grey like most other cool-toned purple nail paints that I have tried. This shade is so unique and flattering that I am sure you will get questions about it whenever you flaunt it on your nails. It is a creamy formula which goes on quite glossy on the nails. The first coat can be a bit streaky but with a second coat, you will get even and opaque pigmentation. The formula is quite long-wearing and only starts to fray at the tips of my nails on my right hand (which I use for ripping open packages and washing stuff) after 3-4 days. It will remain intact for a good 5-7 days on your nails except for some chipping at the edges depending on how roughly or gently you treat your nails.

I also love the packaging of these nail paints which is quite luxurious, and the thick brush is perfect for quick and easy application of the nail paint. What is also commendable is the fact that the formula is free of twelve toxic chemicals that are commonly found in nail paint formulas and are associated with several health concerns. The brand previously had an 8-free formula which they have upgraded to a 12-free formula, while bringing down the price of the polishes, isn’t that amazing?

If you are in the market for a high-quality nail paint with clean ingredients then I will highly recommend you to check out the Kanai Organics Non Toxic Nail Paints. They have some really stunning shades in their cream formula as well as in the shimmery formula. Which shade are you going to pick? Let me know in the comments below!

I’m not a nail paint person. But I like this color and the idea of non toxic and vegan.
