Hey everyone! The festive season is already here and with the back to back celebrations lined up ahead I’m sure all of you are picking out your outfits, accessories, and makeup to flaunt a different look each day. If you are fishing for ideas on how to make your makeup look unique on every festive occasion then you have come to the right place. Switching up your eye makeup is the easiest way to transform your look, and today I will be decoding 5 easy festive eye makeup looks for you so that you can pick the perfect eye makeup kit online to recreate them. Read on to find out how to create these festive eye makeup looks in a matter of minutes!
1.The Glittery Eyeliner Look – Apply a light champagne eyeshadow all over your lid and use a coloured eyeliner or eyeshadow in a shade that matches your outfit to create a winged eyeliner. Wet your eyeliner brush with some makeup setting spray to apply a glittery eyeshadow or loose glitter on top of the liner. Darken the crease with a brown eyeshadow to add some depth to the look.
2. The Duo-Chrome Eye Shadow Look – This eyeshadow look is perfect for those who are not too comfortable applying a dramatic eyeliner, because this look heroes the colours of the eyeshadow instead. Apply a light champagne coloured eyeshadow all over your lid. Pick two coloured eyeshadows that match the hues of your outfit. Apply one of these shades on the inner one-third of your lid and the other shade on the outer one-third of your lid and blend them out to create a seamless transition. Use a small eyeshadow brush to apply the first colour to your lower lashline and blend it outwards and upwards. Apply a lengthening mascara on your lashes to finish this look.
3. Shimmery and Smoked Out Eye Shadow Look – This eye shadow look is my go-to look for the festive season. All you have to do is apply a shimmery eyeshadow on the inner half of your lid, this eyeshadow could be champagne, silver, copper, or gold, depending upon your outfit. Then apply a dark brown or black eyeshadow on the outer half of your lid and smoke it out. Deepen your crease with a dark crease colour, apply a winged liner and a volumizing mascara and you are done!
4. Monochromatic Graphic Eye Shadow Look – This eyeshadow look is extremely simple and will make heads turn wherever you go. Choose an eyeshadow in a bright colour that matches your outfit and a liquid liner in the same colour. First, using the liquid liner, draw the outline of the winged eyeshadow, similar to the shape in the image. Then fill in the outline with the liquid liner, as uniformly as possible and while the liner is still wet, pat on the eyeshadow over it with a flat brush to set the look in place.
5. The Bejewelled Eyeliner Look – You can add some oomph and drama to any of the looks mentioned above by sticking some rhinestones along your upper lashline with some lash glue. You can also use some small sparkly bindis to recreate this look in a jiffy without having to struggle with the lash glue!
I hope that these stunning festive eye makeup looks have given you enough inspiration and ideas for picking up the >right makeup products for your ethnic outfits. So don’t be scared of experimenting with eye shadows and liners anymore because these will take your festive looks to the next level 🙂
