Lakme Absolute Face Stylist Blush Duos | Pink Blush | Review and Swatches

I have been going through a blush phase lately where I am skipping foundation and contour and simply using a concealer and blush for a light-weight makeup look. This is why I was enthralled to receive the Lakme Absolute Face Stylist Blush Duos in the shade Pink Blush in my mail recently. This blush comes in a huge pan and contains 2 shades in one packaging. Read on to find out my thoughts on this product along with the swatches!

The Lakme Absolute Face Stylist Blush Duos come in a black pan with a clear plastic lid. You also get a tiny black brush with the product which may come in handy for touch-ups and on the go use. The packaging is pretty sturdy and chic and contains 6gm of product. The blush is currently available in 4 shade variants, Pink, Peach, Rose, and Coral, and each variant contains 2 shades in the same pan.

I received the shade Pink Blush, which contains a mauvey pink with a golden shift and micro-shimmer on one half and a more coral pink with a golden sheen and less shimmer on the other half. I have a feeling that the shades will look different on different skin tones, but they will show up well on all skin tones up to NC 40. Personally, I feel that both the colours look quite similar on my skin unless I look at them closely, so I like to swirl my brush in both the colours before application. The combination of the two halves creates a beautiful mauvish pink shade with a sheen, making it the perfect blush cum subtle highlight for my skin tone (NC 35).

In terms of formula, the blush comes in a very tightly packed compact form that is not soft to touch. It does not have any fallout, and provides good pigmentation in one swipe. The blush has sheer to buildable medium coverage on the cheeks and you can easily achieve a radiant flush as well as full-blown doll-like rosy cheeks depending on how much product you use.

This blush is priced at INR 750, which is a little steep, but it provides more quantity of product than many affordable blushes out there and has way sturdier packaging too. I will therefore highly recommend picking up at least one shade from this range, and if you are a fan of a sheeny pink glow on your cheeks then go for the shade Pink Blush without any hesitation!
