Nykaa Take A Brow Eyebrow Filler| Review

Posted on June 26, 2019June 21, 2019 by Mrinalini

For years, I was afraid of buying an eyebrow powder because I was worried that I won’t be able to use it properly and things will get messy. The Nykaa Take A Brow Eyebrow Filler has proven me wrong and how! Read on to find out why I love this eyebrow product so much!

Nykaa Take A Brow Eyebrow Filler| Review

The Nykaa Take A Brow Eyebrow Filler is a powder-based brow product that comes in a tube packaging with a thin wand based applicator. The product is currently available in only one shade – Coco Raven, which is a deep brown. I was afraid that this product will be too brown for me because I like to apply a jet black liner and kajal on my eyes, but it blends pretty well with my black eyebrows and gives a blackish brown effect, hence it will suit most people with dark brown to black hair.

Even though this is a powder based formula, it adheres to the wand quite well and there is no fallout while application. You can outline and fill in your brows using the wand. It spreads the product evenly and provides a soft wash of colour which ensures that you won’t get the undesirable fierce artificial brow look. I am not a pro at doing my brows, and hence find this product easier to use than a brow pencil because with a brow pencil the strokes can be visible if you don’t use a gentle hand but with this product you get an even fill of colour without any strokes peeking through.

The only downside of this product is that if I touch my brows, a bit of the product transfers to my fingers. So you have to be careful not to rub your brows because this product is not smudge-proof. As for the price, you get 1gm of product for INR 525, this is definitely way more expensive than a brow pencil, but then again, brow powders are usually more expensive than pencils. I am not entirely sure how long this product will last me though, so will update you on this front when I finish up this tube.

Overall, I really love this brow product for both daily wear and special occasion makeup.  It is pretty fuss-free and allows me to do my brows in a jiffy. I have posted a demo of how I use it on my IGTV, so do check out my Instagram profile to see this brow filler in action.
