Plum Grape Seed & Sea Buckthorn Glow-Restore Facial Oil | Review

Posted on April 19, 2019April 12, 2019 by Mrinalini

Facial oils have honestly been the biggest discovery of my skincare journey for me. The right facial oil keeps my combination skin hydrated and nourished without being greasy or heavy. I was recently on the market for a new facial oil, and the Plum Grape Seed & Sea Buckthorn Glow Restore Face Oils Blend had always intrigued me, so I finally picked it up. Here are my thoughts after using this face oil for several weeks.

The Plum Grape Seed & Sea Buckthorn Facial Oil comes in a plastic bottle with a very good dropper. You get a lot of product (30ml) for INR 775, and the product is usually available at a great discounted price on most online stores. The packaging is very sturdy and travel-friendly and the frosted look of the bottle gives it a luxurious finish.

The oil inside is a blend of 10 nourishing ingredients, namely Grape seed oil, Sea buckthorn oil, Rose hip oil, Argan oil, Sweet Almond oil, Apricot seed oil, Sunflower seed oil, Olive oil, Pomegranate seed extract, and Jojoba seed oil. These ingredients are packed with vitamins and anti-oxidants that help to repair and brighten the skin, along with providing intense hydration. The oil sinks into the skin quite readily, and does not leave behind any greasiness. Even though it is pretty light-weight, it is deeply hydrating, and only a couple of drops are sufficient for the whole face and neck. As this product is a blend of a variety of nourishing oils, it is more suitable for dry to normal skin, but those with combination skin can also use a drop at night to seal their moisturizer in.

I personally feel that this oil will suit my combination to oily skin more in the winter months, but even during the ongoing warm weather, I enjoy mixing one drop with a matte foundation to get a subtle glow. I also use a drop at night after using a serum and wake up to radiant skin in the morning.

Overall, this facial oil is perfect for those with extremely dry skin and can be used in moderation by normal to oily skin types to provide a boost of nourishment to the skin. It is free of parabens and phthalates and is also vegan and cruelty-free, and the price point is great for the quantity of product one gets. Will definitely recommend it to all my dry-skinned beauties out there to achieve hydration and radiance with just a couple of drops each day!
