MamaEarth Natural Radiance Day Cream and Overnight Repair Night Cream | Review

Posted on March 15, 2019October 2, 2019 by Mrinalini

I have been a huge fan of MamaEarth products ever since the inception of the brand. Their eye cream is one of the best in the market in that price range and their C3 Face Mask is one of the few that reduce my blemishes within days. This is why when I saw that they had launched a day cream and a night cream, I was super excited to try them out. Here is my verdict on both these products after using them for several weeks.

Both the day cream and the night cream come in white plastic bottles with a pump dispenser. The packaging is sturdy, leakproof and travel-friendly. A couple of pumps of both creams are sufficient for the entire face and neck region.

The day cream claims to protect the skin against sun and pollution and contains SPF 20. This cream provides a powdery matte finish on the face and does not feel cakey or greasy. It also provides an instant glow to the skin, and with repeated usage, it helps in reducing blemishes too. It hydrates the skin without feeling heavy, thanks to the presence of nourishing ingredients such as pomegranate oil. The cream also contains Moringa Oil and Rice Bran oil which reverse the effects of pollution, such as dullness and pigmentation. I personally feel that this cream is perfect for those with normal to oily skin because it will keep the skin nourished and oil-free throughout the hot summer days.

Coming to the night cream, this one is slightly more hydrating than the day cream and does not have a matte finish, however, it does not look greasy on the skin either. It claims to restore the skin’s elasticity and to diminish any pigmentation. It is definitely a very hydrating cream with ingredients such as shea butter, almond oil, and olive oil. It also contains saffron and daisy extracts that help with brightening the skin, and collagen to boost the firmness and elasticity of the skin.

I have seen a significant improvement in my blemishes ever since I started using this day and night cream combo, and my skin feels nourished without my pores feeling clogged. These products have evened out my skin tone and my face seems more radiant than usual. Priced at INR 599 each, these creams are extremely affordable for the results that they provide and they are free of parabens, SLS, mineral oil, and artificial fragrances and preservatives. Overall, if you have sensitive skin and are looking for affordable products to help with dullness and pigmentation then the MamaEarth Day and Night Cream will definitely deliver results. It goes without saying that these creams have become summer skincare staples for me!
