Belle Organique Scarlet Red Lipstick | Review and Swatches

I have heard a number of bloggers as well as non-bloggers say that they are over the matte lipstick trend and are leaning towards moisturising, glossy formulas in 2019. If you too are looking for a hydrating and nourishing lipstick this season then I have the perfect product for you. Today I will be talking about the Belle Organique Scarlet Red Lipstick, a lipstick that contains organic and natural ingredients that will heal and nourish your lips while adding a wash of colour.

The Belle Organique lipsticks contain a bunch of nourishing ingredients such as organic castor oil, organic jojoba oil and Vitamin E oil. They also contain Carnauba Wax, Ozokerite Wax, Beeswax, along with FDA approved pigments. They have a sheer pigmentation that can be built up to a medium coverage and are more like highly pigmented lip balms but in a luxe lipstick packaging. In fact, I quite love the golden and black packaging because it looks quite classy.

The shade scarlet red is a pinkish red that is suitable for daily wear because it provides an even wash of colour to the lips even though it looks extremely bright in the bullet. This is the kind of lipstick that you will have to reapply throughout the day because it has a creme formula and it does transfer, however it fades evenly so I do not mind it transferring. The formula feels super lightweight on the lips while being extremely hydrating. It does not feel waxy or cakey on my lips which is a problem I sometimes face with hydrating lipsticks.
