Your signature fragrance can not only help you make an entrance every single time, it can also tell a lot about your personality and mood. Unfortunately, most long-lasting perfumes will burn a significant hole in your pocket, which is why I usually rely on The Body Shop fragrances for having that seemingly expensive scent without the hefty price tag. One of my favourite scents from The Body Shop is their White Musk fragrance, and here are my thoughts on the Eau De Toilette from this range.
The best thing about The Body Shop fragrances is that you can try out their body mists for a fraction of the price before purchasing the eau de toilette or eau de parfum, which are pricier. I had already tried and loved their White Musk body mist, so I picked up the eau de toilette during their latest sale without any inhibitions. This product comes in a fancier packaging than the body mist. It is an acrylic/plastic bottle with a beautiful lid which is travel-friendly yet pretty. Also, it fits in the palm, making it easy to pack when you are on the go.
The fragrance is a sweet musky scent which is slightly more feminine than a full blown smokey musk scent. It comes across as quite sweet when you first spray it on but settles down to a softer, floral musky scent after a few minutes. You only need a spritz or two of this product on your skin otherwise it can be a little overpowering. With a couple of spritzes, the fragrance will linger for around 8 to 12 hours on the skin. This is the kind of scent that is not too overwhelming, it does not have that heavy perfumy feel to it but will keep you smelling sweet and clean all day long, making it perfect as an everyday scent to wear to work or even at home.
This fragrance is priced at INR 1445 for a 30ml bottle, which is still on the pricier side but is way more affordable than most branded perfumes. If you are new to the perfume game and are still trying to figure out which scents you tend to lean towards then The Body Shop fragrances are ideal for you. What is also wonderful is that the brand uses only cruelty-free musk, which is something I truly appreciate about The Body Shop. I highly recommend their White Musk range to those who love clean and sweet fragrances that are not sickeningly sweet.
