If you are a regular reader of my blog, you may know that I am a huge fan of the Nykaa So Matte Lipsticks. What’s not to love about these lipsticks? From the magnetic lid and classy packaging to the pigmented creamy matte formula and the affordable price, I adore everything about these lipsticks and I pick up more shades in this formula whenever I want to fall back on something dependable. So when I found myself craving for a new everyday nude lipstick, I picked up the shade Naughty Nude (11M) from the So Matte Range. Here is my review, along with swatches of this shade.
Naught Nude, is a very unique combination of pink, peach and taupe which looks different under different lights, but is definitely a pinky nude overall. I have also swatched it against the Revlon Color Burst Matte Balm in the shade Sultry and the Nykaa So Matte Lipstick in the shade Taupe Thrill for reference. While Taupe Thrill is a browny nude and Sultry is a deep nude pink, this shade is somewhere in between with slight peachy undertones too.
The formula is the same as that of the other lipsticks I own from the collection. It is a creamy matte that is fully opaque in one swipe but this particular shade provides a richer finish with two swipes. Since it is a creamy matte, it is extremely comfortable to wear but does transfer a tiny bit. However, it stays pretty much intact for at least 5-6 hours, and if you eat something then it fades quite evenly, leaving behind a nice wash of colour.
Overall, I highly recommend the Nykaa So Matte Lipstick collection to everyone and the shade Naughty Nude to those with fair to medium skin tones in particular. They also have a large number of shades to choose from which can complement different Indian skin tones and the price point of INR 399 is excellent value for money. Do pick these up if you haven’t already, I’m sure you will love them as much as I do 🙂
They’re all very pretty! Love the taupe one (:
