I know that an eye cream cannot be properly reviewed within a few weeks of use, but the Dr. Sheth’s Date and Quinoa Eye Cream is a limited edition launch from the brand, so I couldn’t resist telling you guys about it asap. So here is a first impressions style review of the product. I have been using this eye cream for more than two weeks now and here is what I think about it based on my experience so far.

This eye cream has some very interesting ingredients to help with different problems of the under eye area. It contains date seed extracts for brightening the skin, quinoa seed extracts for calming the skin, and hyaluronic acid for providing a boost of hydration. While Hyaluronic acid is known worldwide for its excellent hydrating properties, date and quinoa were new and intriguing ingredients for me.
The formula is in the form of a smooth, slightly thick cream that blends easily on the skin without leaving any oily residue. Personally, I find the texture a little too thick and slippery for my liking and I tend to rub my eyes a little due to the slipperiness I feel. However, this is a minor problem which is specific to me. The product does not irritate the eyes and should be suitable for people with sensitive eyes and skin as well. Because of the slightly slippery texture, I use this product only at night because I do not prefer applying concealer over the thick cream.
My experience so far with this eye cream has been pretty good. While it is too early to talk about the brightening properties of the eye cream, I can definitely vouch for its hydrating and calming effects. It instantly soothes tired eyes with its rich nourishment and the stretchy feeling that I get under my eyes after a long day or a sleepless night disappears completely within minutes after applying this product.
Overall, I will recommend this product to all those who prefer slightly thicker eye creams and suffer from fairly dry skin under the eyes. The price of INR 899 for a 10g jar may seem a little expensive but the quality of ingredients is top notch and eye creams usually tend to be on the costlier side anyway. I will probably do an updated review after a month or so to let you know whether the cream works on my dark circles, so stay tuned to my blog and Instagram for that! Have you tried this new product? Let me know in the comments below 🙂

Thank you so much! You must try it out 🙂
I’m 26 and still im not using any eye cream.. Is it really worth it. Hope I’ll try to include it in my routine. loved the review.😊
25-26 years is the perfect age to start using an eye cream. You will not notice any overnight transformation but your under eye area will remain youthful even in your 30s and 40s if you use an eye cream 🙂
ohh that’s great then I guess I should try it…😊
