If there is one haircare product that you should NEVER travel without, especially if you are a fine-haired, oily scalped gal like me, it is dry shampoo. When I was looking for a travel-sized dry shampoo from Batiste, I was disappointed to find out that they do not stock a mini of their Divine and Dark variant in India. Still being a loyal lover of Batiste, I picked up the mini that WAS available, the Fruity and Cheeky Cherry Variant. Here is why I love this dry shampoo as much as the other variants from Batiste that I have already reviewed on the blog.
First of all, let’s get this out of the way, I love the scent of cherry -so anything cherry-scented has to float my boat. Additionally, this particular dry shampoo, despite not being tinted, does not leave much white cast at all on the hair. The small amount of white cast that it does give can easily be taken care of by brushing the product through the hair. Also, it leaves 2nd-day hair looking extremely fresh and bouncy for the next two days, which is more than what I expect from a dry shampoo. This is definitely what you need when you are travelling to attend a special event or for work and don’t have much time or styling tools on your hands.
Overall, this mini (50ml) dry shampoo spray can priced at INR 299 only is a handbag and travel essential for sure. Whether your hair needs a quick refresh at the end of the day or you want to extend your shampooed hair look for a couple of extra days on vacay, you can’t go wrong with this product!
