So Wet n Wild finally launched in India on Nykaa.com and I was a happy bear because this brand is known for their affordable yet high-quality products. One of the first products that I had my eyes set on was the Wet n Wild Photo Focus Concealer because even though I have almost completely ditched foundations for good, I still need some concealer for my persistent dark circles and the stubborn blemishes. This concealer is available in 6 different shades in India, which is quite good considering the limited shade range of most Indian concealers. I picked up the shade Light/Medium Beige as a gamble, based on the swatches I could find online, and here are my thoughts on the product.
The Wet n Wild Photo Focus Concealer has a creamy consistency and is slightly thicker than the Maybelline Fit Me and Loreal True Match concealers. The shade Light/Medium Beige has a slightly yellow undertone, which is suitable for Indian skin tones. Personally, I prefer my concealers to be slightly thinner/runnier than this one but despite being on the thicker slight, this product blends with ease and is not cakey at all. The shade that I picked is slightly light for my skin tone and works quite well for brightening my under eye area. It also works fine for my blemishes after some blending. I love the fact that the concealer does not crease under my eyes, which is something that I struggle with when using other concealers.
The concealer provides a light to medium buildable coverage and is more suitable for a natural makeup look. It will cover up light blemishes and pigmentation but may not be able to conceal acne scars or intense dark circles completely. However, if you pair it with a medium coverage foundation then you can easily achieve a full coverage look without your face looking overly done up or cakey. I would also like to give a special mention to the doe foot applicator that picks up just the right amount of product and minimizes any wastage, unlike some of the other liquid concealers in the market. Also, Wet n Wild is a cruelty-free brand which is definitely commendable.
Overall, this concealer has really impressed me for the price point of INR 399. It is light-weight but provides decent coverage and has a good lasting time of at least 5-6 hours. I will definitely be purchasing a slightly darker shade to mix and create the perfect shade for me and will recommend this to anyone who is looking for an affordable concealer for daily use.

P.S. For reference sake, I am the shade 25 in the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer.
Hey great review but I wanted to ask does this dry the under eye area?
I haven’t experienced any dryness with the product but it is definitely not hydrating either.
Worked amazingly well on you!! I am really loving this concealer for everyday use.
Same pinch 🙂
Great review! Why have you ditched foundation though?
My blemishes have reduced significantly after I improved my skincare routine, now I don’t feel the need of some coverage all over my face. So I use a primer with a concealer only on my spots and dark circles.
That’s great to hear! I’d love for you to put up a post on how you got your skin to behave 🙂 Mine is a little too stubborn and I need a medium coverage foundation for any special occasion 🙂
Its largely a lot of charcoal masks and vitamin C/aha peels. Will make a skincare routine post soon 🙂
Can’t wait! All the best ahead 🙂
Did you try their Photo Focus Foundation?
No, not yet.
I want to try this concealer sometime. Does it seem to settle into fine lines? You’re young and don’t have any though I’m guessing lol.
I have a few, and it does not settle in them 🙂
Sounds good to me! 😊💕
