I recently won a giveaway hosted by the lovely Surbhi from Little Reviews and to my delight, I won all 5 shades of the Loreal Paris Infallible Paints Eyeliner! The Loreal Infallible Paints range has been all over the internet this festive season but I didn’t purchase it because I found it a little overpriced, so winning these products in a giveaway was the best thing ever. So without further ado, here are my thoughts on all the colors and the formula of these liners.
The Infallible Paints Eyeliners have a liquid matte formula and are available in 5 shades in India – Black Party, Electric Blue, Vivid Aqua, Intrepid Teal, and Wild Green. The shade range is quite good, with an everyday black, an almost black but more fun green, a bright sky blue, and two more wearable blues, although I do wish that they had added a warmer purple/plum shade to the collection as well. The formula is pretty thin but not runny and the pen-shaped eyeliner comes with a very fine felt tip applicator. This applicator allows precise application despite the thin formula of the liquid and those who love a very thin eyeliner will absolutely love it. However, those who prefer a more dramatic liner will need multiple swipes to achieve the desired thickness. This is the kind of liner with which you cannot create a winged liner in one fluid swipe, you need to work in smaller sections. This allows achieving the perfect shape and is great for beginners but may irk the impatient people and those who are pros at applying their liner. I honestly do not mind the slightly longer time needed for application but what I do not like is that the pointed felt tip can poke the eye a little when you are working close to the lash line.
All the shades are intensely pigmented and create an opaque line in one go. The formula sets within a few seconds to an almost matte finish. The finish looks more matte in the arm swatches than it does on the eye but it is still one of the more matte formulas out there. I do love the matte finish because I am personally not a fan of glossy eyeliners. The formula is also completely smudge-proof and is also water resistant (will stay in place after contact with water but will disappear if you rub when wet). I quite appreciate this level of water resistance because the color can endure a bit of sweat or watery eyes but you can still remove it with extreme ease when you want to, even with plain water. In terms of longevity, it lasts on my lids for around 8 hours without smudging or budging.

Overall, I am impressed with the formula and pigmentation of these eyeliners but wish that the applicator was less pokey and the color glided more smoothly. I feel that the price point of INR 845 is a bit too steep and would personally recommend purchasing these when they are available for a discount. My two personal favorites are the shades 308 (Wild Green) and 304 (Vivid Aqua) because they are quite different from anything I own. If you prefer liquid liners, just like me, then I would say that picking up one of the fun shades might be a fruitful investment.

Awesome review! We have more of a color selection in the United States, I’ve purchase a white eyeliner from this collection and fell in love with it
That’s so cool!
Great review 😊 these eyeliners look awesome, too bad they are expensive :/
The shades look really pretty but the price is high 😐 😐
True that!
These are such beautiful shades! Nicely reviewed!👍🙂
These are gorgeous! Tho I kinda think you’re right about the price point being a tad crazy. Similar results/colors are available with a ton of drugstore brands and they work fab in half the price (read: essence cosmetics liners). <3
Great review! It’s always nice to win something in a giveaway that you wouldn’t have bought yourself!! These liners look so fun! They really only seem worth investing in if you are in need of a bright coloured liner though!
These are great shades – I love Loreal products!
Amazing review!! I’m definitely going to be trying these out and try some funky looks with them.
