Even though soap bars have made a major comeback in India, thanks to the beautiful handmade soaps that have hit the shelves, I am still a loyal lover of shower gels. Somehow the sight of a wet bar of soap with that one rookie strand of hair clinging to it always turns me off, and I have super long hair that break easily, so this scene is pretty unavoidable in my bathroom 🙁 Also, shower gels are easy to travel with and are a more hygienic option when shared, so basically, I have a significant stash of shower gels in my cupboard. Today I will talk about the latest edition to my shower gel family, the Kronokare Provencal Lavender All Is Well Shower Gel.
This shower gel is free of sulfates, parabens, silicones, and mineral oil. It contains lavender and thyme extracts, glycerin, and seed oils that soothe and repair the skin while cleansing it. This product is particularly designed for irritated skin and is super gentle on the body. It initially smells like an old school, strong smelling shampoo, but after rinsing it leaves behind the mild and pleasant scent of lavender on the skin. It lathers pretty well and cleanses the skin without leaving it dry, in fact, my skin feels slightly softer after using this shower gel. It is therefore perfect for the days when you are suffering from extremely dry skin or have rashes from waxing or shaving.
Priced at INR 200 for 55ml, this shower gel is fairly expensive, but it is perfect for those whose skin reacts badly to drugstore shower gels. Other than the high price, I do not have anything negative to say about this product. The packaging with the flip cap is pretty sturdy and travel-friendly too. The 30ml bottle that I have was a sample purchased from Smytten (I got 2 other samples and this bottle for INR 89 only, which is a very good deal!), so you can check it out on the Smytten app, or can purchase it from the Kronokare website directly. If you are a fan of lavender then I am sure that you will love this product!

I’m not a huge bar soap fan either (totally get the gross hair thing with the mop I have), so I love shower gels. Lavender is also my favorite scent! I’ll definitely be looking into this- thanks for sharing (:
You are most welcome 🙂
I on the other hand was raised usinf bar soap, I love it, I just keep it high, dry away from moisture on a soap dish. However this product looks inviting.
