Summer is the time to experiment with fun colors and a pastel nail paint is the best way to add some brightness to your look. I love all the shades from the Nykaa Pastel Nail Enamel range that I have tried till date and the shade 23 – Bubble Yum is no exception. I received this delicate pink nail paint as a birthday gift from Nykaa but tried it out for the first time this month. I thought that you guys might be interested in the review and swatches of this product, so here you go!
I was a little afraid that this color would end up looking too neon and tacky on my nails but was pleased to find out that it is neither of those things. It is in fact, a bright, light pink with generous white undertones. It appears milkier in certain lights than others and sometimes lives up to its name and shows up as a bubblegum pink. It is definitely more of a playful color than a sophisticated one but I like it. I think that this shade is perfect for nail art too!
You do not need more than two coats of this product and even one coat is pretty opaque. Texturewise, it is creamy with a slight shine but I have noticed that if I am not too careful while applying it, I end up with a bubbly surface instead of a smooth one. These nail paints are not very chip resistant and tend to start chipping within 3-4 days. The colors, however, are so stunning that I always end up buying more shades.
The Nykaa Pastel Nail Enamels are priced at INR 179, I know that I am repeating myself but the unique colors of this range make them worth the money. I would highly recommend the shade Bubble Yum if you like the girly, Barbie doll nails. If you prefer more muted colors then check out the other shades from the range, they have some great neutrals too!

How did you store them ? Because one of mine turned kinda sticky on placing them in a wooden cupboard ?
I place them in a wooden cupboard too. Some people recommend placing them in a fridge but mine is too full of food 😛 In any case, mine didn’t turn too sticky, just a wee bit thicker.
Thanks 🙂
