Summer Date Night Outfit Ideas

Choosing a comfortable yet stylish outfit is always a hard task, especially during the summer months. When getting ready for a date, you want your skin to breathe but do not want to look too casual either. I recently styled a summer date night outfit inspired by the cute lingerie sets from Adore Me. Their collection is incredibly feminine yet comfortable, which gave me the idea to slip into this deep turquoise lace dress that is comfy yet chic.

The subtle see-through elements at the sleeves and the hemline add to the feminity of the dress and the body-con fit accentuates the figure perfectly. The fabric is very comfortable and stretchable, making it ideal for the sultry heat. In the summer, I want my feet to be comfortable too, therefore I went for these chunky brown heels that add a bit of height without being hard to walk in.

 I chose a breezy, ruffled hairstyle that wouldn’t be difficult to maintain and used a few simple golden accessories to add a formal touch to the look. A gold cuff and a gold clutch complement the color of the dress really well and also provide a glam quotient. You can even opt for a sling bag if you prefer those.

For my makeup, I wanted something simple, with a pop of color. I chose a matte foundation and a nude lip gloss and added the color in the form of a gorgeous duo chrome eyeshadow. I can wear this outfit and makeup all day/night long without feeling sweaty or uncomfortable. With the right amount of mixing and matching, you can make sure that you do not have to compromise on elegance even in the summer months!
