An annoying thing about some lip balms is that they can be quite thick and can cling to the chapped portions of the lips. Not a pretty look for lips that are already dry and damaged. If you face this problem with your lip balms then you might want to give the Vichy Aqualia Thermal Lip Balm a shot. Bear in mind that this lip balm is expensive and will set you back INR 490 for 4.7ml of the product, so if you are happy with your current lip balm then there is no need to spend so much money. However, if you feel that most lip balms do not sit right on your lips then this investment might be worth it.
The formula is super nourishing and has a slightly oily feel to it, but in a good way. It gets absorbed quickly and leaves a very thin layer of the product on the lips that stays there for 4-5 hours. It is a transparent lip balm that imparts a natural shine to the lips without exaggerating the cracks and patches. I would not recommend applying a lip color on top of this one because things could get a little slippery. It is better to use this on the no makeup days or as an overnight lip treatment.
The lip balm has some great ingredients such as shea butter, glycerin, and vitamin E and does not contain any parabens. The formula also contains the famous Vichy Thermal Spa Water and is hypoallergenic, making it perfect for those with super sensitive lips. I like the mild fragrance and the light texture of this lip balm for the summer months and it has become a staple for me. Other than the price which is quite steep, this could be a game changer for those of you whose lips simply do not cooperate!
