I am back with the second post of my beauty bargains series and today I will be talking about a wonderful face product. I am yet to find a good high coverage foundation that is priced at less than INR 500, therefore I am going to talk about a CC Cream instead. The Lakme CC Cream has been around for some time now but they have recently upgraded the packaging and have relaunched it as a part of their 9 to 5 range.

I love the Lakme CC Cream in the shade Bronze for the days when I do not want porcelain perfect skin but do not want to leave my face entirely bare either. It provides light to medium coverage that is quite buildable. The scent is fresh and citrusy, which is perfect to wake me up in the mornings. The formula is moisturizing and light but does hide some pigmentation and smoothens the finish of the skin.

The color looks a bit orange in the swatch but is perfect for my complexion once blended. It is the ideal product for daily wear that provides a glow to the skin and also protects it with SPF30.

A 30 gm tube of this product is priced at INR 325, making it much more affordable than most light coverage foundations available in India. It lasts on the face for around 5-6 hours if you stay in a cool and non-humid environment. It can also be reapplied in the middle of the day without the texture getting cakey.
My only issue with this product is that it comes in only two shades, but if you do find a shade that matches your skin tone then it is definitely a beauty bargain recommended by me.
Never heard of this product before. It looks great on skin. xx

I know right? I was also sceptical at first when I swatched it, but have been using it for years now 🙂
I’ve used the old vwersion of lakhme cc cream…this one… i din’t try yet…..fr sure gonna try his soon….
It feels like pretty much the old formula, but the packaging is new 🙂
Oh.. So I guess there’s nothing new to try it on….ryt..?
I am using this CC cream. And I love it🤗 thanks for sharing your experience here 👍
Is this better than maybelline BB stick? I mean have you used the latter?
I have used the Maybelline Stick in the past. This one is more moisturising and light but provides slightly less coverage.
I would love to buy it
The fact that they have only 2 shades is a bummer. Have tried this in the past but the shade didn’t really work for me!
