There are so many of us who do not like a full coverage base on regular days. The trouble with a full coverage foundation is that it looks a bit off unless you pair it with a lipstick, blush and contour to balance it out. Also, a lot of people find foundations quite heavy and difficult to wear all day long, especially in a hot and humid climate. The Just Herbs Skin Tint is a light-weight, sheer coverage skin tint that is the perfect trade-off between a moisturizer and a foundation. Here is why this product is a blessing for the days when you want a “My skin but better” look.
The Packaging
As I mentioned in my previous blog post on the Just Herbs SilkSplash Face Wash, I am completely in love with the aesthetic packaging of all the products from Just Herbs. The Just Herbs Skin Tint Comes in gorgeous pale pink cardboard box with a botanical print on it. The bottle inside is a plastic one with a similar pale pink label and a golden pump. The packaging is pretty sturdy and leakproof and looks extremely classy. If you are a fan of elegant packaging then this one will be right up your alley.
The Formula of the Just Herbs Skin Tint
The Just Herbs Skin Tint is essentially a tinted moisturiser that combines the benefits of skincare with a light coverage. The formula contains a bunch of natural ingredients that are known to hydrate and soothe the skin, such as Centella, jojoba oil, aloe vera, and avocado oil. It also contains a number of Ayurvedic herbs that are associated with skin brightening and anti-aging. The product also contains SPF 30 and offers broad-spectrum UV protection.
The formula has a creamy consistency that spreads easily on the skin and blends quite effortlessly with fingers. It provides a light coverage and offers a dewy sheen to the face. Oily skinned people may have to use a compact powder on top for a less shiny finish. The formula feels quite hydrating on the skin and unless you have very dry skin, you can skip using a moisturizer when you are wearing the Just Herbs Skin Tint. This will also work well as a glowy primer in case you wish to add heavier base makeup on top. The scent of the tint is quite earthy and may bother those with a sensitive nose. I recommend spritzing some rose water on top to negate the strong herbal smell of the formula if it bothers you.

The Shade Range
I picked the shade Beige_3 out of the 5 shade options and it is half a shade lighter than my NC35 skin tone. This doesn’t matter much though because it provides a light coverage that blends to suit my skin tone.
My Verdict On The Just Herbs Skin Tint
Overall, the Just Herbs Skin Tint is an excellent all-in-one product for the ladies who do not like to wear heavy base makeup on a daily basis. It evens out the skin tone and blurs small blemishes while hydrating the skin and providing some sun protection too. It also adds a nice glow to the skin and is a great everyday base for college-going girls and working women. You can even use concealer on top of this product to hide your blemishes if you want. At INR 1295 for a 40ml bottle, the price of this skin tint is slightly up there, but it works as both a moisturizer and a base, which makes it budget-friendly. So, if you are someone who does not like heavy foundations but wants a little coverage for when you step out, do try the Just Herbs Skin Tint.
